In January 2016 I decided to take my passion for podcasts further by starting one of my own. My background in journalism and creative writing meant that I knew a number of people with interesting things to say about creativity, so I invited them to discuss their work and ideas over a ‘bottle of red’.
It quickly became apparent that creating a podcast requires more than an engaging guest and a microphone. My first four attempts were chucked, never to see the light of day, until I became more confident recording and mastering audio.
The initial series of 10 interview-style episodes was followed by a second series, which followed more of a roundtable format. I decided to end the project in September 2016, a few months after starting the GoodPractice Podcast.
The later episodes of Bottle of Red are still available on iTunes, but the complete series can be listened to below.
